Dental consultations & full dental treatment for homeless people. Phone Cornmarket Weds & Thurs 9am-12.30pm,2pm-4.30pm for referral appts. Gay Men’s Health Project – Outreach & Counselling
Sexual health services for gay and bisexual men and men who have sex with men. Waiting list for counselling appts (interpreters available and ISL by prior arrangement). Outreach sexual health information, advice, support and referrals. Personal development and other workshops. Agency training on sexual health, safer sex, homophobia, heterosexism. Safer sex packs. Walk-in blood tests Tues & full walk-in STI screening (including swabs) Weds for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis. Return appts for results and treatment, including genital warts and hepatatis vaccine. Safer sex packs (lube/condoms). Charges for some services.

Multi-Disciplinary Healthlink Teams
Helps homeless people to access health services. Outreach needs assessments in centres providing homeless services. Referrals to range of healthcare services, including doctor, nurse, chiropodist, dentist, counsellor, optician, drug and mental health projects. Health promotion and harm reduction. Fast track medical cards. Teams respond to calls from agencies in contact with homeless people.

Open Access Primary Health Care Unit
Full time nursing service and sessional GP, counselling, chiropody and dentistry services.

The Health Centre is funded by the HSE and managed by the Salvation Army.

Women’s Health Project for Women in Prostitution
Outreach service for women involved in prostitution on the street and in parlours. Drop-in clinic providing a medical service which includes STI screening, HIV, hepatitis and smear testing. Harm reduction addiction service available. No appointment is necessary and there is no waiting list.
