Mahon House
Funded by HSE Mid-West within the Mid-West Regional Drug and Alcohol Forum Structures, Mahon House is a community and day Therapeutic Community programme based in the heart of Limerick City. Our Mahon House team is ready to meet clients at whatever stage they’re at in their journey, whether an individual is taking the first step towards recovery or is taking part in a full or part-time programme. Mahon House provides a supportive setting to build self-confidence and skills to maintain their recovery.
Addiction can be a dark, lonely, and chaotic place, especially for women, and at Mahon House we reach out a hand to help women who may otherwise struggle to access support. We are a predominantly female service, providing support to males via pre-entry groups only (with a view to them accessing this treatment in one of our other services, or through a peer agency).
What do we offer?
Our staff run a variety of programmes to suit peoples’ unique needs, from preparing someone for treatment to providing tailored evidence-based care and also providing support to family and friends who are impacted by their loved one’s substance use.
